Compactors

We can fit your compactor with telemetry technology which informs us when your compactor is due for exchange, removing the hassle of remembering to book in an exchange. This ensures the container is only lifted once it is full and this will help to minimise costs and environmental impact.
Custom built, including the addition of bin lifters, conveyor feeding, air extraction and chute-through-the-wall systems, static compactors are mainly used for dry waste such as general office waste, textiles, plastic and paper, whilst portable compactors are best suited for general, offensive and food waste, where environmental and hygiene considerations demand a sealed unit.

This highly innovative solution for multi-tenant and multi-function facilities controls costs of waste disposal, measuring and recording the progress and outcomes of a streamlining of waste strategy. This state-of-the-art waste equipment can be programmed to recognise individual waste and recyclates using radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, bar codes or touch screen terminals. Weights and quantities of waste are recorded and stored on the system ready to be allocated and invoiced to individual tenants.

Food waste is macerated into a liquid form and pumped directly into a built-in de-watering system, forcing out excess liquid. This liquid is fed directly into the drain, resulting in a greatly reduced volume of food waste, which is then collected in small, easily managed, lidded bins, ready for onward processing. This process reduces waste volume by 80% resulting in cost savings derived from fewer waste collections.
